Hosts Brent and RoseMarie Perkins opened Le Boomerang in 1987, making it the first Australian restaurant in France.

Australian-born Brent brings a touch of ‘Down Under’ to the restaurant, along with his barbeque skills on Le Boomerang’s impressive wood-fired BBQ. Brent and his trademark Akubra™ hat have become well-known throughout the local towns and villages!

RoseMarie was born in nearby Bourg-en-Bresse and has a wealth of knowledge about the region’s outstanding fresh produce and local delicacies.

She combines the freshest ingredients with Australian bushfoods and spices to create menus that are bursting with flavour.

Together, they have created a unique place where people from near and far come to relax and enjoy good company, beautiful surroundings, fine wines and mouth-watering cuisine.

Brent and RoseMarie speak fluent French and English, and are happy to help with any enquiries about travelling in France or Australia.
